Certification

The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program recognized by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers world-wide. The program is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarked food safety standard based on Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).

KSA is the largest, recognized and accepted, kosher certification agency based in the western United States that certifies thousands of companies worldwide. A not-for-profit agency, KSA Kosher is committed to bringing the kosher consumer assurance of quality and compliance with kosher standards.

Non-GMO means a product was produced without genetic engineering and its ingredients are not derived from GMOs. Non-GMO Project Verified additionally means that a product is compliant with the Non-GMO Project Standard, which includes stringent provisions for testing, traceability, and segregation.







Affiliations

The Specialty Food Association (SFA) is a not-for-profit, membership-based, trade association founded in 1952 and currently representing 3,000+ businesses. The SFA produces the Fancy Food Shows, and presents the annual SOFI Awards honoring excellence in specialty food.

The Food Industry Business Roundtable (FIBR) is a nonprofit business association dedicated to promoting the growth of the food processing industry in Southern California. The organization is committed to helping create partnerships and has a diverse membership.

The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) is a community of professionals and students passionate about the essential role science and innovation play in ensuring that our global food system is safe, nutritious, and sustainable.
